proposed marriage of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Anjou.

stove of Stationer's Hall.

- 1579 England-London: The author was condemned to have his right hand cut
off by means of a cleaver driven through the wrist by a mallet. Stubbs
thereupon raised his hat with his left hand and cried, "God save the
Queen."
